Billing & Payment
Monthly payments are processed in advance to ensure fresh deliveries. Payments must be made via bank transfer (EFT) by the 27th of each month to confirm your subscription for the following month. No cash or card payments are accepted at collection points.
Renewals
Subscriptions auto-renew each month. You can cancel or pause anytime before your next billing cycle.
Cancellations & Modifications
Subscription cancellations or adjustments must be made by the 25th of each month for changes to take effect the following month. No mid-month cancellations or refunds.
Collections & Deliveries
Collections are available after 15:00 on Wednesdays or Fridays in Northvilla, Benoni. Delivery is available within Benoni only at R70 per month extra.
If you are unavailable, provide at least 72 hours' notice to reschedule. Missed collections/deliveries without prior notice will result in forfeiture of that week's package without refund.
If a collection or delivery is missed without sufficient notice, the package for that week is forfeited.
If deliveries are missed, the R70 fee is non-refundable, and redelivery will not be arranged. The order must then be collected instead.
Returns & Quality Guarantee
Returns of preserves are only accepted within 48 hours if the product is deemed unusable (e.g., spoilage, damage). Returns are not accepted for reasons of personal taste or texture preferences.
Product Selections & Substitutions
If you wish to replace a pre-selected or recommended preserve (e.g., swapping chutney for jam), you must specify changes when placing your order. Once the order is confirmed, product changes are not permitted.
Once confirmed, the selected subscription contents cannot be altered.
Right to Modify Subscription Contents
If a product becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute with an equivalent item of the same value.
Force Majeure Clause
If deliveries are disrupted due to events beyond our control (e.g., strikes, extreme weather, supplier shortages, load shedding, disruption to water supply), customers will be notified, and an alternative plan will be arranged.
